5. Booking and Contract

When making a booking, we collect the following data:

  • Name, address, date of birth
  • Email address, phone number
  • Arrival and departure dates
  • Number and ages of guests
  • Payment information

This data is processed for the fulfilment of the contract and compliance with legal obligations (e.g. registration requirements, tax law). The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract fulfilment) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).

Booking data is stored in accordance with statutory retention periods (7 years under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code) and deleted thereafter.

6. Registration Obligation

As an accommodation provider, we are legally required to report our guests’ data to the competent registration authority in accordance with Austrian registration law. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).
